Water world recount story

Splash  goes the boiling hot pools.

On the first week of term two whole  community  gets to go on the bus to Flax mere Water world. We are going there to get better at swimming.I can't wait to hop off the bus.Awesome we’re here.I  love doing dolphin dive because it's fun swimming like a dolphin.When we do freestyle we have to have big rainbow arms.

Splash  goes the the water as i kick my feet. The water was as  warm as a bath.I can feel the warm water swaying side to side.The teacher instructors said to try our hardest at swimming .The water smelt like chlorine. I saw the deep Aqua water and I want to jump in.

I  whispered to Miss Thompson  “It was fun diving in the clear aqua  water.” She replied by saying” I wish I  was in the water.” The swimming teacher Katelyn shouted to “Do freestyle to the end of the pool without putting your feet up.”.

My favourite thing was doing dolphin dive because you get to swim under the water and up again just like a dolphin . I love diving under the water to capture the coloured rings.

That experience was super fun. 

Maui and the sun

It was a dark  and foggy night.

The sun had gone down.

Maui couldn't see his food.

The  sun goes to fast.

We don't  have enough time to go fishing or hunting.

Guys come here.

Māui's brothers came over to Maui.

The days are short but the night is long.

I have a plan.

We will make ropes out of flax.

After the flax were ready they set off to find the sun.

They found the hole where the sun shines.

They hid behind a big giant rock at the top of the surface.

Maui said on my count throw the ropes

“123 now” yelled Maui.

“Pull “yelled Maui.

Maui kept continuously beating the sun with his grandmother's jawbone.

 “Aiee” cried the sun.

“What are you doing let me go! let me go!”

“Stop it” said the sun angrily.

“You will kill me if you don't let the ropes go”.

“There's one condition” said Maui you have to go more slow.
Now Māui and his people have plenty of time to fish,hunt and eat their food all in the light of the sun.

Miniature story

    Once there was a little girl and  her sister.The girl's name was Beau and the big girl was Emile-Rose.Once Beau couldn't sleep ,neither could her sister so they talked till they were tired.So in the morning they woke up and they got a  call from there cousin in Auckland. They lived in a house in the city of Christchurch so their cousins said” we will come over ‘.   We can go to the mall together.We will call you when we're here.Beau we are going to set up a  room for our three cousins because they’re coming over for a trip.There's enough beds for three.     

   ‘ Come on let's go shopping to buy some drinks,lollies and popcorn for a movie and subway for tea’ said Emile-Rose.

‘How are you guys ?’asked Beau .

‘We’re fine ‘said Mia.Should we go and eat now?

‘Yes’ said Kyra.

Splat, the subway fell.

‘Beau can you please get a  cloth to wipe down the table?’

Everyone lets go and watch a movie and have some pop corn corn chips and lollies.

‘What should we watch ?’said Disha .

‘Let's watch Annie ‘said Beau.

‘Okay everyone in bed get some sleep ‘ whispered Emile-Rose.

‘Oh that was a great sleep let's get  ready for the mall’ said Disha.

Look let's buy some clothes.’KFC for tea’ said beau  

‘Yum KFC said Mia

‘Sleep everyone ‘said Disha.

’That was a my beauty sleep’ said Beau.

‘Let's go to the zoo’ said Disha.

‘Look I can see a lion it - looks scary ‘ said Mia.

’Those teeth are sharp’ said Beau.

Roar! Goes the mighty  lion.

‘ I like those horses they  are as pretty as roses’ said Beau.  

That horse is magnificent and marvellous. Bye bye cousins .   

‘I loved this trip it was awesome’!

Swing Bridge

WALT - use our senses and the 5 W’s when writing

As I walk on my last step  I hear the bridge collapsing into itty bitty pieces into the horrible lake .But luckily I crossed the bridge before it broke down.The bridge looks as if it was 178 years old. I saw lots of people taking photos.This looks like it has sneaky snakes and deadly spiders.This is an old mysterious forest.I am here with my family.I wonder what is at the end of the forest.I taste  the slippery rain softly dropping on me.I walked through a tunnel I saw lots of spider webs and bats.Ohhhhhh I can hear the wind blowing over my face.I am running after my hat. I am sure this was in the morning.The bridge is there because some one needs to cross and find whatever is on the other side.It is a mystery.I can smell flower freshness on the other side of the magical bridge. I can feel the crusty old bridge.Man that adventure was awesome!
